When will the plug-ins be available?
They are in development and testing now. Each plug-in’s page shows where it stands. Leave your address and I will write once, when the first release is out.
Which systems and hosts are supported?
macOS 11 or later, on Apple Silicon and Intel, as Audio Unit (AU), VST 3 and CLAP. Each plug-in is tested in Logic Pro first; further hosts are tested before release.
Is there a Windows version?
Not at present. The first releases are for macOS only.
Will there be a trial?
Trial and licence terms are announced with the first release.
Can I take part in testing?
Testing is by invitation. If you work with sound professionally and want to be considered, write to me.

Does The Master’s Agent need the internet?
Yes. The listening assistant needs a connection and an access code. The plug-ins themselves work fully offline and without it.
What does the Agent learn about me, and who owns it?
It learns from the changes you keep and turn down, blind. Its record is kept on your Mac and copied to my server at Hetzner in Germany, with no time limit on keeping it yet. No audio is recorded or sent; your words, the plug-in’s settings, its readings of the sound and your ratings are sent, and your words are read by a language service in the USA, outside the EU. Nothing is used for advertising or sold, and nothing is used for anyone else’s profile.
Is the Agent a chatbot?
No. No generative language model takes part in a decision. A compact classification model interprets your descriptors as typed judgements; deterministic code combines them with measurements of the audio and proposes one bounded change the plug-in allows, which you compare blind. It learns from your choices, and every decision is yours.
